James teaches beginner and advanced guitarists. His lessons are always adapted to suit the needs of each individual. Students are able to learn finger style, rhythm and lead guitar in a multitude of genres. James is also an experienced accompanist and can teach the correct approach to playing while singing and how to back up other singers and instrumentalists.

Professional Guitar Teacher

James’s teaching is inspired by his touring as a professional guitarist and songwriter. He is able to work with students on presenting and conveying feel and mood of music, the use of dynamics and how to structure a guitar piece or song.
